The longest trip of a busy travel year found me crossing the pacific. My last trip, I was just south of the arctic circle. This trip took me just south of the equator, 12 time zones away…

to Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia.

To the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students World Assembly held at the Mercure Resort Hotel.

845 delegates from 162 countries, worshiping, eating, learning, and praying together.

Worship music in multiple languages.

It was a great time of fellowship and making new friends.

Enjoying Indonesian culture.

And music from other cultures.

During a break in the program, some of us took a field trip and enjoyed street scenery of Jakarta.
