The Arboretum in Spring

With just a week of classes left I decided it was time to take a hike – to campus – through the arboretum. It’s spring after all.

There were once 38 springs that fed Lake Wingra. This is one of the 14 that's left.

There was a tree that had an eagle's nest but it apparently fell over last winter. Nearby, the eagles have built another nest.
