When I was a kid, I thought it was crazy when dad would stop at a roadside spring on our Sunday drives and harvest some water cress.

But now that medical research has shown the importance of green leafy vegetables in our diet, I have to admit I foraged some water cress from a spring on my visit to Donald Park.

On this third trip to Donald Park, we crossed the road and circled around the back of Donald Rock.

The woods are filled with trees, bushes, and other flora springing into vitality.

And one leaf which last fall failed to reach its destiny.

A nest awaits new tenants.

A farmer in the field preparing for fall planting.

A beautiful day at Donald Park.

Our investigation revealed there IS a trail up Donald Rock.

And it goes all the way to the top.

Where the view is magnificent.
