Walking in the Snow & Sunshine

Arboretum Trail

Occasionally we would notice some interesting colors or unusual life forms (like fungi).

Trees and snow

Trees and snow, and occasionally piles of wood.

Advancing to the prairie

Then we walked through the tunnel under the beltline, through some conifers, and out onto the Curtis Prairie…

...through the tall prairie grass...

…through the tall prairie grass…

...and other prairie vegetation.

…and other prairie vegetation.

And almost to the visitors center.
