I asked Sam what he wanted to do this summer and he said, “Go Camping.” So we reserved a campsite at Pike’s Peak State Park in Iowa and soon we were on our way. Yeah, this is the view from Pikes Peak, overlooking the confluence of the Mississippi and Wisconsin Rivers.
Last weekend we were camping (Sam & I), and the weekend before was a road trip to a family wedding in Ohio, so this weekend it’s good to take it easy and reflect back on some great memories and great photos.
We left Madison early enough to hit Chicago just as the sun was coming up, and before rush hour got bad. That was good.
